Tom Wrigley - CEO
Nicholas Wrigley - Chairman
Nicholas founded Cornish House Land and Development to focus on acquiring, developing, and enhancing land and property across Cornwall. With a deep passion for the region, Nicholas is committed to transforming underutilised land and properties into valuable residential and commercial developments that meet local needs and enhance Cornwall’s unique landscape.
Prior to establishing Cornish House Land and Development, Nicholas co-founded UPC Renewables, a global leader in wind energy development, where he played a pivotal role in delivering over 2,000MW of operational wind projects across the US, Asia, and North Africa.Nicholas brings extensive legal expertise, having worked as a partner at Clifford Chance from 1995 to 2006. He is an English Solicitor, admitted to the Law Society of England and Wales and the Italian Bar.
Ellie Mitchell - Head of Planning
Ellie Mitchell is a Senior Planner in our Cornwall office, working with Cornish House via Bell Cornwell. With over seven years of private sector planning experience, Ellie has worked on a variety of projects, from barn conversions to affordable-led residential and commercial developments.She is particularly skilled in coordinating, submitting, and negotiating planning applications, and values strong engagement with stakeholders. Ellie is passionate about integrating environmental benefits into projects from the outset.
Previously Ellie worked with global design and engineering firms in Cardiff, returning to Cornwall in 2021. She holds both a BSc and MSc from Cardiff University and became an RTPI chartered member in 2021.
Katie Orme - Head of Design
Kate is a talented interior designer at Cornish House, bringing a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating elegant, functional spaces. With a deep understanding of design trends and client needs, Kate excels at transforming interiors into modern, welcoming environments that align with each property's vision.
Her expertise spans residential and commercial projects, delivering personalised designs that reflect both style and purpose.
Known for her creativity, professionalism, and collaborative approach, Kate plays a pivotal role in enhancing the value and aesthetic appeal of Cornish House's property developments.
